American Nuclear
Insurers |
In 2006, American Nuclear
Insurers asked
Centroid to completely revamp their site. They
specifically wanted more engaging content, simplified
navigation, and easy site maintenance.
We performed all
information architecture
(IA) tasks, culminating in page layout templates and CSS
definitions. We were also responsible for content development,
including writing and editing; graphics design; HTML and JavaScript development;
and testing for this 40+ page site. This project was completed
at the end of 2006.

Autobahn
PowerBox |
Centroid Communications was asked to submit a
proposal for streamlining the contents of the PowerBox area of the Autobahn Internet
Services site. Based
on a prior business arrangement, a Portland graphics design firm
provided a new page layout and navigation scheme design for the
PowerBox pages. Centroid Communications performed
information architecture (IA), complete content development (writing,
rewriting, and editing), and site design and layout consulting. In
2006, Autobahn Internet Services became Strateja XL, Inc. and
they refocused their business on new software services. They
also radically redesigned their site and eliminated the PowerBox
pages.

Watson Wyatt
REWARD |
Centroid Communications was asked to submit a
proposal for revamping the REWARD area of the the Watson Wyatt corporate Web site.
Initially, this area was composed of about 20 pages of text and
graphics that had been culled from software documentation
files.
Centroid Communications handled all design
and development of the REWARD Web pages. We performed all
information architecture (IA), content development
(writing,
rewriting, and
editing), graphics design and page layout, and HTML development
and testing for the more than 50 Web pages that finally composed
the REWARD area of Watson Wyatt's site. In
late 2001, Watson Wyatt consolidated all design and development
work for their corporate Web site under their Marketing
department. They also radically redesigned their site and
reduced its size substantially.
