This tool can crawl over a virtually unlimited number of Web sites and
quickly scan for specified key word citations. Each fully automated
search can be directed to a specific site or all sites currently
listed in the bot's search rules. In the example below, the bot is set
to search two sites: www.thestandard and www.wired.com/news/technology:
The CIA bot will search for all
citations on the listed sites that contain any of the key words or
terms that have been defined. For example, if the terms
"privacy" and "3-D" are defined, the bot could
generate a report like this in about ten seconds with a 56K baud
dial-up connection:
