2020 -2024		Advanced farming technologies like automation, urban greenhouses, and other intensive production systems.		Parents can routinely choose characteristics of their children through genetic engineering
2025 -2029								Molecular electronics able to duplicate all silicon IC functions.		First permanent moon base established.
2030 -2034						Over half of all U.S. adults will be 50 years or older.				"Intelligent" robots and computers a million times more powerful than 2000 models.
2035 -2039						Proliferation of "intelligent" robots eliminates vast work sectors in developed countries.
2040 -2044		Routine use of hypersonic aircraft for travel.						A spaceship or probe will be launched to explore a neighboring star system.
2045 -2049
2050 - +								2042 interstellar ship approaches the speed of light.
